I was a trumpet player (my first of two years on trumpet before I switched to tuba and got good at music). This was also back before Wando "became Wando." We finished fourth in South Carolina that year.

When I moved was when they started their run of nine straight South Carolina 5A Championships (that run didn't end until this year, when they just didn't go) and became a BOA group. I'm a big fan of that whole program.

i lived in SC for a year and the South Carolina championships were a highlight for sure! some great bands!

You silly east coast bands actually being you know good. Though I am extremely proud of one of my GAs from college his band is doing very well in BOA this year. He teaches at Rockwood Summit in Missouri they got 3rd in AA at the St. Louis Super Regional and 2nd AA at the Indy Super Regional so I'm hoping they will make a good push at Grand Nationals.

Also you never quite get a true appreciation for those Regionals until you work at one. I worked the 2003 and 2005 St. Louis Super Regional when I was in High School. I can tell you right now some of the Directors for the large schools will try their best to get as much extra time during practices as possible. I think I got up to my 2nd warning before one of the band directors finally said they were out of time and had to tell the whole band to run because they were 1 minute away from penalties.

Also if you want the best seats at the St. Louis Super Regional you have to tabulate scores for finals or be a Press member. Press is at the very top of the Dome and is the highest that you can go, but Tabulating Judges scores is just one floor down inside a luxury box that seems to give you the perfect angle to be able to watch.

looks like CLASS will still have more medals and top 12 places than any other league!

lol royals pulled out there ridiculous late season jump so looks like it! MAoMA will be potentially getting their first ever D1 medal! So I see this as a very successful season throughout!

Was staying up too late every day (talking 1 to 3 am >.>) so I decided to go to bed at 9 or 10 every night. Welp. Me being functional in scholl vs losing a few tenths of a point lol. I'd say My decision was worth it.

Ps I get up at 5:30 monday through friday. Do the math lol

while we may not medal...Nemesis is thrilled that they have tied the world record GE Music score and broken the world record GE visual score with perfect 20s!

You made the mistake of maxing out a caption before Semi's ... You should just do the math & determine the number of rehearsals required to achieve a 99.990 to 99.995 by Prelims & you will be fine in the future ... I noticed that you have maxed out both the Equipment & Movement as well in Guard as of Prelims ... This may lead to further erosion in your score going into Semi's ... Let me know if I can provide any help !!!
