Alright FLAG! Sorry for the delay in getting events created. I'm still having trouble accessing the site.

For this season, at the suggestions of a few members we are going out of this world! FLAG kicks off the season visiting planets of Star Trek. We will return back to Earth for a midseason contest before returning to a galaxy far far awa. We will finish the season on the planets of Star Wars. Looking forward to seeing all of the stars of FLAG!

I'm hittin the books hard this semester and soon I'll have a percussion ensemble to practice, so my rehearsal will be lacking... I hope to make D2 finals I'll be doing some promotion though to fill my time and prepare for future seasons! But I wish the Best of luck to all of you who are working hard and crunching the numbers!

Yeah, I have indoor drumline plus school is getting hectic, so my scores won't be very high this season.

School though... my goal is 95+ in all of my classes for this semester, lets see when I break... Lol

Alright, so Thomas had a great idea for league events next season. There had been previous discussion of how to grow the league and that it would be super cool to have division specific league events, that way we can grow our groups in each division. Currently we only have one league event a week. What we are thinking is to have an additional mid week event that is division specific. While you compete against your division in the regionals each week, we thought it would be neat to have a solid D3 event, a D2 event and D1 event.

The only issue is that there could be is that it would be difficult for some groups to know what division they are in until after preseason week. Joining the division specific league events would be on the honor system as we have no way to prevent league members from joining the event outside their division.

Each division would be on the same day, so there wouldn't be league events every day of the week, which would allow league members to host their own events and we would strongly encourage members to apply and attend fellow league members competitions, of course.

What does everyone think?

Thank you! And the competition venue can be sized accordingly to the expected number of groups in each division if MrsRomo creates them before, or if she would like to create them after divisions are assigned, they can reflect the exact number of participants!

I was thinking about after divisions are assigned, but I wouldn't want people to fill their schedules before then. It's gonna be tricked to balance that

I think, to get everyone on board, that it will take some PM'ing to coordinate the schedule. But that shouldn't be too hard, right? Lol
