Intruding, but I noticed on the schedule that you have an event every day then saw y'all were discussing it. That's crazy! If for some reason you don't want to attend your league event one day, my contests are on March 5th! Lol best of luck

@ MrsRomo - Yeah, it's risky, but I want to avoid what happened last season. There was a surge of new members but not enough events for all of them. Some were leaving because of it.

@ alx - You're welcome :) This season will be the best, yet, for FAME

Is it common for a finalist to move up a division right away? It happened to me last season and i was only 15th. This season i was 5th so im a little scared. I really dont want to move up to D1 XD

I won't be surprised if a good amount of D2 moves up.

I believe it has a lot to do with director level. I stayed in division 2 for two seasons back to back until I reached level 44. Then, I moved up.

Yeah, I moved up, in... well, this is interesting, and I see it happen a lot with active people, My Drumline was in div 2 in season thirty, it was the only active group I was doing,

then, the following season, in season 31 I the Marching Martians went back into motion, and ended up winning Div 2 that season, with the Drumline in D1 only getting 30th place, my other two groups just, chilling I guess,

then at season 32, all four were at Div 1, (I was a bit surprised to see my marching band and guard in div 1 that season, which was my 9th overall active season, my first being season 19, then, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31, and 32 up to then with at least one group in shows of some kind each of those seasons).

then, the freak wormhole accident happened, and here I am, getting back into season 39 with, a, something, i think it was just drumline compete/everyone else fundraising,

then season 40, I got in halfway-ish through, meaning the highest division I could be in was Div 2, since I joined well past the divisions being assigned date.

so, yeah... I wasn't surprised about my groups in being in Div 1, it's just a little nerve wracking to have groups go up against the Div 1 people after such a time away from it all.

To answer that question about moving up, I think it is common for finalist people to move up, it also depends on how long you were in the game, maybe, or director level, there was one person, who's drum-line went straight from div 3 to div 1, because he was a constant rehearser, and raised a lot of money from his shows to level staff up... or at least I think that's what it was. Anything can be a factor really, these are just guesses I have.

Anyway, we got a number of Div 1 people.

sweet.

I've heard of that Alex. If I remember right, Amachi from Japan did an exhibition at WGI a season or two ago and practically wrote the book on it, so far.
