Louisville lost because they stopped hitting shots, refs didn't have any impact on the outcome of that game (they usually don't). The better team won tonight.

Luke's problem is he doesn't practice on his own time like he used to. He goes to team practices and he's done and it's hurting the team. Walz doesn't let us leave practice until we make 10 consecutive free throws (so if we miss the 10th we start over from 1) and 15 consecutive threes (5 from both sides and 5 from the front)

Every team gets a slightly better whistle at home, that's not a Rupp Arena thing.

I think Julius Randle missing the second half had a much greater impact on the game than the generally mediocre refs (on both sides; seriously, they gave Coach Calipari a warning for telling his players to stop complaining to the refs) did.

I was glad they parked him. Love the fight but you're right, that's how a minor problem turns into a lingering problem. He was on fire in the first half though. I was worried when Russ finally started hitting shots. Was surprised at Hancock, he didn't look good at all.
